A Crafty Bookmark Idea...

I found this while surfing the web this morning.  How cute are these bookmarks?  They seem simple enough to make... jumbo paper clips and ribbon.  These would make good back to school gifts or holiday gifts for the kids.

Here is the link to the original blog article that I found these from:

Love the idea (I love bookmarks!). Just make sure you put the ribbon on the right end. It seems as though they are on the wrong end in the picture. The ribbon should stick out of the book, right? Just want to make sure! ;)

The paper clips are backwards :), although for the record, that picture is from the website the idea originally came from. :) So make sure to put the ribbon on the other end when making these!

That is so clever. I absolutely love it! Are you using the extra large paperclips? I've seen them in silver, but not in all of the cute colors.

This would be an easy way to keep track of pages. Does it leave imprints or tear the pages?

These would make great rewards for the girls in my class.

Wow!!! my daughter and I keep our used bits of ribbon on paper clips. lol wrap them onto clips and great for beads as well! gotta love crafting!

Not just for girls! If they have metallic colors in clips, there are probably primary, or fall colors, too. Ribbons have boy interests, also, or patterns like Coach Bear Bryant's houndstooth hat would work. If you added beads(probably not good for school kids)there are wooden and metal beads.

Seems to me the ribbons are on the wrong end. The end that 'clips' the page should be free of the ribbon. Otherwise - cute idea.
