Yesterday I learned that a second grader at my school last year passed away from a long battle of brain cancer. He was diagnosed before he even started kindergarten and it eventually spread. Last year was a very hard, painful year for him. He fought hard and if there is anything that gives me comfort now, it is that he is no longer in pain and can run free.
I just wanted to take a moment and remember him and give out my thoughts to his family, his teachers and all his friends. He will be missed.
