I am sending along this link today of a live webcam featuring a mother eagle sitting on her nest. I showed this to my class today. They all were glued to the screen and squealed in delight as the mother got up to reposition her eggs and settle back down again. The male eagle will come in to sit on the nest to give the mother a rest from time to time. The eggs are scheduled to hatch in April. I am sure we will be checking in on her quite frequently.
